LIST (Land Information System Tasmania) The Tasmanian Government's land information system, the LIST is the primary source for quality Tasmanian land and resource information such as title, properties, valuation, mapping, surveying, and natural resources including vegetation and threatened species, tenure and orthophoto imagery. Also contains climate change information for temperature and precipitation. LIST also includes an internet based map viewer called LISTMap, enabling users to view and create maps, and interrogate data from over 200 spatial datasets

Scientific Advisory Committee (Threatened Species) Details of the Committee, which advises the Minister and the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment on matters relating to the listing and conservation of threatened native Tasmanian flora and fauna species
Species Profile and Threats Database (SPRAT) Database on species and ecological communities listed under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. It provides information on what the species looks like, its population and distribution, habitat, movements, feeding, reproduction and taxonomic comments
Tasmanian devil Links to a range of information on the Tasmanian devil (Sarcophilus harrisii), a marsupial native to Tasmania where it is wholly protected. Includes answers to commonly asked questions, the Tasmanian devil movie, details of the Devil Facial Tumour Disease, scientific publications, an information database, and a website for children. The species status of the devil was uplisted to 'endangered' in May 2009 due to the effects of the facial tumour disease on the population
