Commonwealth Government Atlas of Living Australia
An initiative of the Australian Government, the Atlas website provides access to an array of information on Australia's biodiversity. To assist researchers, members of the public can submit information on, and photos of, local species. Data sources include the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery's zoology and botany collections
Local Government Bush Adventures Program (Hobart City Council)
Hobart City Council's Bush Adventures Program offers nature-based activities for all ages each season. Activities include wildlife spotlights and nature walks, as well as school holiday activities

State Government Threatened species: list of state and national approved recovery plans, 2006-2010
Lists the recovery plans for listed threatened species that have been made or adopted under the Tasmanian Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 and also the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999.
