Brief history of the development of land titles in Tasmania

Information on the responsibilities and services of the Land Titles Office, the administrative office of the Recorder of Titles. The Office administers the system of land titles, registers changes of interest in land, holds survey records, provides access to records, and provides title and cadastral related services

The Tasmanian Government's land information system, the LIST is the primary source for quality Tasmanian land and resource information such as title, properties, valuation, mapping, surveying, and natural resources including vegetation and threatened species, tenure and orthophoto imagery. Also contains climate change information for temperature and precipitation. LIST also includes an internet based map viewer called LISTMap, enabling users to view and create maps, and interrogate data from over 200 spatial datasets
